About the event
This is an exciting opportunity to visit and sketch this historic 16th century house and its beautiful gardens, which are usually open to the public by appointment only.
We will be given a guided tour and then will spend the day sketching and painting in the grounds. Carole will start by demonstrating sketching techniques using pen & wash and will then give individual tuition throughout the day.
You can choose to work in sketchbooks, creating a series of pen & wash studies, or take more time over a painting in watercolour. In the event of rain, we will be able to work indoors from a room overlooking the gardens.
Suitable for all abilities.
