Portraits are a fascinating and challenging subject but one which is thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying. Carole will demystify the process taking you through a variety of tips, tricks and techniques with a series of exercises and demonstrations.

About the event
Portraits are a fascinating and challenging subject but one which is thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying!
Carole will demystify the process by demonstrating general facial proportions of adults and children, the form of the head and features and how to improve accuracy and capture a likeness, as well as touching on colour mixing for flesh tones, hair and adding backgrounds.
We will be working from photographs. If you are using your own reference, please use as good a quality photo as possible, and one not showing a broad grin that exposes all the teeth!
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Please bring your own packed lunch
