Pen and Wash at Watershed Studio

Pen & wash (an ink drawing with watercolours added) is a delightful medium for quick, loose sketchbook studies or for paintings that require a lot more detail. 

In this one day course, Carole will start by demonstrating the range of pens available and show you a variety of options for whatever style you favour. You will be able to spend some time experimenting before starting on your sketches or paintings.

There are many interesting things in and around the studio to paint – the old tractor, the chickens, the garden with its pretty flowers and interesting knick knacks, or the views across the fields with the horses, ducks and wildlife. 

Or if you prefer, you can work from photographs in the studio to create your pen & wash masterpiece!
